The transference of a source file to a target file. The source or target files may be hosted in the public cloud and/or an on-premise. When applicable, the files may be distributed to many different targets (e.g. multi-cloud) The file may be compressed to addressed network concerns.
Examples include:
- Transfer of on-premise to cloud file which contains the journal entries from an on-premises ERP system. This file can then be loaded into the SaaS ERP
